Resin issues, Shipping update.

Hey all!

At the time of writing there are roughly 70 more pledges (from over 500 including backerkit) awaiting their journey to the packing room and beyond. We were on schedule to have it all down to packing tomorrow and then disaster struck. Our resin mixing machine developed a fault which wasn't detectable until it was too late. The ratios were not properly mixed and as such none of todays run is fully cured.

Not only did we lose todays entire run, only 1\4 of which is pictured below

We now have to clean the goop from all of these before we can run them again :(

An engineer is here to fix the machine and we are pulling a night shift to get it sorted as quickly as possible. To add to that will be in at the weekend to pour, pick and pack. I now think however we are looking at the middle of next week before everything is ready to go out. I hate that we still have bits to ship but we could never have planned for this. 

I won't be updating tomorrow like I normally do (I had a really good one planned too) as this is an all hands on deck situation. I will be back next week when I hope I can finally post that its all gone. Sorry for the little extra delay, those affected, I will make it up to you!

Hey all!

Shipping

First things first, lets talk shipping! I see people in the comments saying bits have arrived and others saying they haven't. Sorry to those still waiting but most of you now have items in the mail! There are roughly 100 orders still to ship. These required the odd model here or there and should be in next weeks post without fail. In next Fridays update I hope to be able to post ITS ALL GONE and can't see any reason now why that wont be possible. We have a few extra limited edition generals left after picking for orders and they are likely to find their way into the last packages to ship. A little apology for the added delay :) As of next Saturday if you don't have your package and want to chase it up then message us here. As I wont be picking models or counting bases I can update you on the status and provide tracking if your order had it :)

RUMBLESLAM

As I've mentioned in a few past updates we were waiting on RUMBLESLAM cards to arrive so we could ship out the teams and expected them today. They actually came yesterday! So all of our little fighters are now on their way to their new managers. If you haven't joined the RUMBLESLAM fantasy wrestling fan page facebook group yet then please do check it out below. Its a hive of activity for all things RUMBLESLAM and I love seeing what everyone is up to on there.

If you are out in Ohio and headed to Games Expo then be sure to stop by the TTCombat booth and say hi to Don and our US team. No halflings will be on sale at this event but we love to meet you guys and talk about our ranges.

Retail release

A lot of people have asked about the retail release of the Halflings. We are working with our chums at Warlord Games to bring out some fitting boxes for Warlords of Erehwon which will likely be the first opportunity to buy these outside of this campaign.

Bringing everything to a close

This campaign is nearing a close and as such so will our Friday updates. I will keep updating for the next month or so as the final rewards arrive and I will keep checking the messages so if you have questions about your pledge I am there to reply :) Is there something you want to see in the final updates? Something you want Fin to paint? Let me know!

Next campaign

It is coming! We were planning to launch it this week but as there were still orders outstanding we have pushed it back to next month. I will have a firm date for you on the next update.

Games Expo! Rumbleslam cards, more shipping

Hey All!

Its good to be back in the warehouse after a crazy time at Games Expo.

Some of you came up and said hi and it was great to meet you. To those who couldn't join us then hopefully I can see you at a future show! We had the Rumbleslam team in our display cabinets and people were very complimentary of them. :)

I checked Fins desk and it looks like he is about to paint a whole horde of skeletons

That is spears and archers in the background too! I can't wait to show you the whole horde once he has finished.

Shipping is still ticking along, again I hope to have it as good as finished end of this week if not very early next. The one outside factor which was the RUMBLESLAM cards are arriving Friday so all of the little wrestlers can finally get on their way to you backers!

Saturday Update!

 Hi all!

Next week sees us venture to UK Games Expo, if you backed the campaign and are going along then come and say hi! Some of the models will be in the cabinet. We won't be selling any Halflings at the Expo as its only fair backers get them first.

I have spent most of the week and indeed this morning picking models for orders, these are this mornings efforts! :D

As mentioned last week we've been held up by a few poor castings that needed reworking but everything is in full flow now and I still hope to have everything shipped in the next 2 weeks. All of the RUMBLESLAM pledges are packed and just waiting for us to pop the cards in (should be here next week) and then they will ship. We were going to send them and have the cards as a downloadable resource but considering the delay caused by muschles casting issues thought we would use the time to get the cards properly printed.

On that note, look who Fin painted this week!

I know there was some concern over the size of the treemen so lets put that to bed! I got a comparison shot next to a Halfling.

I also got one of the Ogress, not all the Ogres are Oglings!

Despite picking thousands of halflings we still have plenty of stock left!

Another 50,000 bases arrived this week, we are blasting through them and I think my eyes are now square.

I'm at Expo Thurs to Sun and have to return vans etc on Monday so please look for the next update on Tuesday 4th. There are still lots of people back here casting and packing so a steady flow will keep going out the door all week.

Haven't forgotten you. Will be doing a proper update tomorrow as today was a bit of a whirlwind.
